Renze's name is a Sound Horizon reference. ラフレンツェ I see romanized a lot of ways I forgot if there's an 'offical' way.
No relation to sanhora other than his name. His full legal name is Lafarenze but as someone whose lived through a lifetime of abuse he shortens it to Renze to have some control over his life and self.
Mede's name and pronunciation
Oh that's a fun question! Mede is named after '目出度し目出度し' Japanese for "happily ever after" to explain in English 'めで' or me-day sort of. He isn't Japanese I just thought I could take that lil part and turn in into a name w a cute meaning behind it.
